I have been tempted to the dark side, after a fashion. After so long seeing [info]clez and [info]likesthesilence and [info]_revolutionary and their ilk showing off the beautiful creations they made for [info]icons100, I broke down and joined and submitted a claim.

And...the heck?

Lyn told me it took about a week for her to be approved...I just submitted my claim five minutes ago!

I'm in. I now have ten weeks in which to produce 100 icons of -- I know, you're all terribly stunned -- Sherlock Holmes.

Ohohoh! That's the one I thought of as "mama said knock you out" Ohoh that'd be so frickin' funny. Good grief, I wish I had photoshop.

Okay, so it wasn't all bad about icons100: I got some loverly Robin Hood: Prince of Theives icons. *squeeee* Now I wonder if I can beg someone to make me one of Mr. Rathbone in the Errol Flynn one. *tries not to hyperventilate*

I think I'll crosspost this to my LJ so someone may take pity on me.

I have the exact frame in mind that I want, but there be my problem. I'm clueless as to how to do screencaps.

I admit it, I'm so not with it. I used to be on the cutting edge of technology but I fear that edge is more like a spork from Kentucky Fried Chicken than a katana. :P

Aww, you don't have to do that. ^_^ I'm sure I could figure out how to do it, it's just that my mom's computer is rather feeble, and I'm loath to install any software on my work computer. Le sigh.

Good luck! You can do it in four days, I did, but I was braindead after that, so it might not be such a good idea.

I haven't take part in the icon100 challenge before (did it at iconship100 instead), though, and I don't think I will anytime soon. But yes, do have fun, it's a grand experience.
